Anybody know what is the diff. Was told by 1 well known audio shop that Active i front speakers onli. Sound is solid.

Passive is front and rear speaker, not so solid.

How come huh? I thought front and back more surround?

I think maybe because sound concentrate in front and we drivers sit in front so more power?

but this is 1 thing i am sure.

active spent less

passive spent more
as passive need 1 more set speaker, processor .one more amp if ur is onie 2 channel
